ALL ABOUT BACKPACKS FROM BETH, INC.
My name is Laura and addiction, like for many of you reading this, is a part of my family's story. Addiction and hope are not often words that are easily put together and I want to help change that. My goal is simple: to help spread love, hope and LIGHT into the darkness of addiction. Backpacks from Beth, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that started as just an idea for a one time drop off of backpacks and supplies in August 2015! It didn't take long for me to realize that this needed to be more than a one time drop off, so with lots of help and encouragement, I formed this organization to honor my brother's sobriety and recovery and in memory of my wonderful mother, Beth; the only person who never lost hope for my brother's recovery.
